Development

emilda.org now features a Projects section for Emilda sub-projects including languages, PHP-MARC and emilda-print. The main purpose of this section is to coordinate development and resources related to the projects in a larger restructuring and documentation effort presently in progress for Emilda.

Today we added the Emilda API Documentation under http://doc.emilda.org/ generated by phpDocumentor each night from the latest CVS source. We'll begin documenting the source according to phpDocumentor's guidelines shortly as part of the restructuring effort for Emilda 1.3. The goal is to have every library function in Emilda well documented.

As of today, the 1.2 branch of Emilda is in QA for the 1.2-rc1 release, which will come within one week if nothing major is found. No new features will be added to this branch anymore, only important bugs will be fixed.

Please report any outstanding issues as soon as possible. Once this release is out the real QA will begin for the stable 1.2 release.

With the release of Emilda 1.2-beta, the 1.2 branch will remain closed as only bug fixes are commited to the branch. We are preparing the 1.2 final release and all your bug reports from 1.2-beta are very important. Let's make 1.2 a long lived stable branch.
