Normal users should download the latest stable release. If you want to test new features or help us find bugs, we recommend the latest pre-release, as it is somewhat stable and should not contain any major bugs. The CVS version is a snapshot of work in progress and can be completely broken. Use it to see if a bug you're interested in has been fixed and similar activities. The nightly demo is also a good source to follow the latest development.
We sign our releases.

CVS
The Emilda CVS repository is hosted by Sourceforge.net and is available to the public. The CVS version contains the absolutely latest development and can be broken. This is only recommended for developers and people who like to live on the edge.
The CVS repository can be checked out through anonymous (pserver) CVS with the following instruction set. The module you wish to check out must be specified as the modulename. When prompted for a password for anonymous, simply press the Enter key. To determine the names of the modules, you may examine the CVS repository via the web-based CVS repository viewer.
cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/emilda login
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/emilda co modulename
